So, why should you use me?

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Melanie May, and I’ve been writing for, and about, businesses of all shapes and sizes for more than a decade.

There are a number of good reasons why you should use me. Not only am I fast, friendly, flexible and affordable but with a marketing and journalism background, I know how to write compelling copy, and how to pitch it precisely at the audience you’re targeting.

Based in the heart of the West Country, I am currently news editor for UK Fundraising, which serves the charity sector, providing news and resources for fundraisers, and content editor and reporter at Turner PR. As a copywriter, I also work for a wide range of clients from PR companies to blue-chip organisations and local businesses, across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, charity, education, technology, real estate, and marketing services. I specialise in writing copy for the web, and also write everything from reports and white papers, to advertorials, and promotional copy.
